September-Wyld Reasons for the Change of Seasons

As I sit with Kitten in The Log Studio, I am waiting for the electrician. I am having some electrical plugs replaced and new ones installed. It resembles my life at the moment. I am letting go of old habits (that no longer serve me) and understanding I am gratefully moving forward with choices to improve and create a happier life.

One of my mentors shared with me....If I do not move forward, I am preventing others from being their best and moving forward in their lives as well. I wanted to understand an example in my life where this ripple effect was relevant. I thought of the young couple that sold me the farm. They had inherited this property and decided to sell it. Their decision and actions enabled me to purchase the property and begin my new life with Rooted. I am so very pleased to have the opportunity to start my life over in a different direction and location. Some of my belongings came with me as well...both physical and metaphorical.

The Autumnal Equinox and Full Moon are this week. Energies of change are here and my internal compass guides me to be gentle, have gratitude, be focused and have grounded time for myself to hear and trust my intuition.

Kitten is taking more time to nap and seems quite content to do so. Both of us have had a full summer and enjoyed Nature everyday.

New gifts of seeds and plants have arrived for Rooted and I am excited to learn their requirements and the energy they bring with them. The Labyrinth of Lamb's Ears has grown over the summer, and the heart-shape is more defined and lush, offering peace and calm for Family, Friends, and visitors.

In the middle of the fallow field at the front of Rooted, I have started a walkable path. It begins and ends near the Log Studio. The long term plan will include gardens with sitting areas. The vignettes will comprise shrubs, trees and plants with the majority being native pollinator cultivars to help nurture and provide for the wildlife. Planning and creating this project, with friends, brings me joy and hope. It is truly a gift in motion.

In your unique way, I invite you to join me...weave joy and hope into your life and understand that the world needs and wants YOU!

-Take good care-

Annette
